The Book Club is a fun environment to develop a love of reading and imagination. We believe that the power to imagine creates ideas that build the future. This club brings books to life through group reading and discussion of selected fiction and non-fiction books. In the non-fiction category, we study biographies to learn from others life experiences. We sometimes invite featured authors or even live characters from books. The book club has both a physical club, and an online club for a wider reach.
With our monthly book selection and with global membership, we alternate between physical meetings and having virtual discussions via skype for a global audience. We also partner with local schools and libraries, working with Librarians and teachers within our pilot area. We encourage elementary, middle and high schools to participate.
