Stick Universe Clubs

Stick Universe is a private organization with a social enterprise agenda towards youth building and empowerment. It is a company with goals set on facilitating activities and training in various areas of life for pre-teens to young adults. The areas of focus include improving communication and building confidence through our Speakers Club, expanding the mind through our Book Club, enriching the spirit and soul in the world of entertainment by analysis and review through our Movie and Music Club, nourishing the body through our Athletics, Health and Fitness Club, building up spirit and soul in wisdom, faith, hope and love through our Bible Club and getting back to the basics of home health and economics while learning various life skills and tools through our Specialty Craft Club. We empower today’s youth using basic fundamentals as foundation for tomorrow’s communities and generations to come.

We operate our clubs and programs through Chicago, IL USA and eventually will move to the surrounding suburbs. Some clubs are open to the global audience.

About - I am a Nigerian, Not a Terrorist

The purpose of this book which started prior to the December 25th incident is to put a spotlight on Nigeria, It was to celebrate the country's 50th independence day anniversary on October 1st, 2010 with a focus on the positive and what makes it unique. The book will:

i. Enlighten the world about Nigeria, providing candid information about it with more emphasis and focus on the positive and unique aspects about this West African country
ii. Show that the country is a lot more than a producer of terrorists or con artists and highlight it's potential and hope for a better tomorrow
iii. Show a need and urgency for all human beings to have a sense of curiosity about others, to generate an interest in fellow human beings to ignite the spirit of tolerance
iv. Open our eyes even wider and broaden our view of the face of terrorism in hopes to conquer it very soon.
v. Leave a Legacy of the culture and a better environment for the children than we met it.

It will sensitize you to the fact that no matter what space you occupy here on earth, Nigerian or non-Nigerian, global problems require global solutions and a little effort to make changes by everyone from all nations can go a long way. I also hope that your knowledge and understanding of other cultures, starting with Nigeria will increase your urge to know more of your surroundings, other human beings around the world and encouraged to be your brother's keeper as we all fight against terrorism and other world issues.
