Whether you were born as one of the Traditionalists or Silent Generation (1927-1945) or in the 60”s, 70’s 80’s or 90’s as a Post World War II Baby boomer (1946-1966), from the Busters Generation “X” era (1965-1983), a Generation “Y”, echo-boomer or one of the Millennials (1984-2002), the Digital generation “Z” (2003- 2013) most people will agree that today’s world is moving at a way faster pace than in prior years and it doesn’t look like we’re slowing down. This means that for less negative impact, today’s youth and young adults have to make the right decisions quicker than before.
In the world of technology including the internet, mobile and smart phones, SMS, social media like facebook, twitter, instagram and other instant communication technologies, bad decisions are caught quicker; some with room for correction but others with severe damage that will keep a person marred for life.
Everything is available but not everything is beneficial. A control mechanism therefore has to be in place and what better way than the preventive measure- removal of ignorance through informal education. Education about those things adults know are not new under the sun, but cause the highest impact because you can’t afford for experience to be the best teacher. There is nothing like too much advice for today’s youth and young adults and over-advice may be a lot better than little advice or no advice at all.. SO LETS TALK.
